Grammar Check

I miss how you held me
Between syllables,
Vowels touching consonants.
The way your hands
Slipped commas across my lines.
Now I notice you forgetting
To dot the i’s and cross the t’s
Even on important words,
And I sit here and wonder
Why you forget to proof read.

  1. This is awesome. It makes me want to do sort of what you have done here with grammar, but with records and turntables. The spaces between tracks, the spinning of the platter, the silence at the end of the side when the stylus hits the last groove…

  2. Absolutely beautiful. I relate to the loss of the beauty of a relationship and how taking/being taken for granted, overtime, destroys the preciousness of love.
